My Marketing & Communications Journey
After 13+ years in San Francisco, I’m currently Oakland-based, and am constantly inspired by the Bay Area and the creative communities that shape it.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my cat, going to local shows, skating, experimenting with film photography, supporting my communities, or listening to heavy music while trying every cold brew within a 10-mile radius.
My ideal weekend involves camping with friends near a river or lake, or, depending on the weather, staying in with a good movie or book.
I’m endlessly inspired by the small details around me: signage, design, tone, texture, and the way a place or brand can make you think and feel.
Lately, I’ve also found myself increasingly drawn to marketing podcasts (my current favorite is Marketing Operators) and staying curious about the ever-changing world of marketing. I see learning as continuous and I am always looking for something new to explore, question, or better understand.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I grew up fascinated by pop culture, branding, advertising, and the way the right message could make something feel memorable. That curiosity eventually led me to San Francisco State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
My first real introduction to the industry came through a marketing agency internship during college, where I got an early look at agency workflows, marketing operations, client relationships, and the work that happens behind the scenes to keep ideas moving forward.
Since then, my experience has grown across digital marketing, CRM, email communications, website content, project coordination, and brand storytelling. Over time, I found myself especially drawn to the systems behind strong communication; the workflows, organization, messaging, and collaboration that help brands connect more clearly and intentionally with people.
Today, I’m continuing to deepen my knowledge of marketing operations, ecommerce, CRM, and digital strategy through hands-on work, professional development, and an ongoing curiosity for how brands evolve alongside culture, technology, and audience behavior.
